Interested in mountain biking but don’t have a bike yet? Looking for a fun outing with family and friends? On a trip without your mountain bike? You’ve come to the right place. We have a variety of bikes available to rent for new to advanced riders, less than a mile from the Chauncey-Dover Park Trailhead of the Baileys Trail System!

Location

Our office is located at 23 Main Street, Chauncey, OH, 45719. We are less than a mile from the Chauncey-Dover Trailhead Park, where you can access the Baileys Trail System!

Hours

We are open for bike pick-up and drop-off Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM. These hours may change in the future so check back for any updates! We will be closed for all major federal holidays.

How do I rent a bike?

You can reserve your bike ahead of time online, or walk-in to our office to rent a bike. Online reservations require a 25% deposit at the time the reservation is made. Walk-in bike rentals are welcomed; however, we cannot ensure we will have a bike available at that date and time. **price is calculated based on 24-hour time periods. Rentals less than or equal to 24h are charged for the 1-day rate, rentals less than or equal to 48h are charged the 2-day rate, and so on.

 

A 35% discount will be available for students, upon presentation of a valid student ID, and residents of the following local Ohio counties: Athens, Morgan, Washington, Meigs, Vinton, Hocking, and Perry, upon presentation of a valid driver’s license or government-issued ID. Discounts will be applied upon bike pick-up.

Policies & Resources

Reservation Policy

You may reserve equipment in advance online, by phone, or in person with a complete payment of total rental fees by credit card only. Your credit card will be charged 25% upon reservation and the remainder charged when the equipment is picked up. You may also check equipment availability by phone or in person.  Reservations must be cancelled 2 days prior to pick up date to receive a full refund of the deposit. If a reservation is cancelled within 2 days of the pick-up date, the reservation fee is non-refundable. If the rental is not cancelled and the customer does not show up, the full rental fee will be applied to the customer.  No reservation fee refunds will be issued due to inclement weather or changing plans unless the cancellation is two days prior to pick up.

Rental Policy

Rental fees must be paid in full when equipment is rented; no rental equipment may leave the service center unless paid in full. For student discounted rentals, a valid student ID is required. For local discounted rentals, a valid government issued ID is required. Equipment must be returned complete and in good working order. Late equipment will be charged an additional $10.00 to the daily rate of each item for each day late. Any equipment that is lost, stolen, returned damaged or unusable, will have repair / replacement fees charged to the account on file in the full amount of the repair or the full replacement value of the item. Your credit card information will be kept on file until the bikes have been returned and inspected and will be charged for any repairs or replacements.

Bike Rentals for Minors

Minors (under age 18) must have a legal parent / guardian accompany them to pick up their bike in order to sign the liability waiver.
