Description

Tanager Twist is a key connector for optimizing your trip to the Big Bailey Run Ridge flow area. This trail was designed to allow visitors to have a more gradual climb back up to Nebo Spirit from Big Bailey Run Road. Using this trail allows you to access advanced downhill flow trails such as Oak Rush, Truetown, Bear-Corn Plunge, Bobcat Romp, and Starin’ Heron for multiple loops! If you see a flash of orange and black fluttering above, you have likely seen the Scarlet Tanager, a feathered friend that frequents the area. We recommend using this as a climb trail as it is the most gradual climb in the area, however it is fun in the downhill direction too!
