Description
Tipple Top Trail is an intermediate natural surface trail that serves as the backbone of trails between Chauncey and Doanville, connecting to Salt Works Trail at its eastern terminus, Holler Collar at its western terminus, and Wild Turkey, Corps Tour, and Knights Labor in between. You’ll find yourself weaving around hillsides and between trees as you navigate the trail. Tipple Top acknowledges the region’s rich coal mining history, particularly the unique dome-shaped tipple of the old Chauncey mine.

Hacksaw
The first advanced (difficult) trail of the Baileys begins toward the bottom of Wild Turkey Trail, north of West Bailey Road. Expect a very narrow trail tread full of roots, short steep pitches, and trees hugging the trail. The trail dumps out on West Bailey Road near the bottom of Knights Labor Trail.
