Description
Tipple Top Trail is an intermediate natural surface trail that serves as the backbone of trails between Chauncey and Doanville, connecting to Salt Works Trail at its eastern terminus, Holler Collar at its western terminus, and Wild Turkey, Corps Tour, and Knights Labor in between. You’ll find yourself weaving around hillsides and between trees as you navigate the trail. Tipple Top acknowledges the region’s rich coal mining history, particularly the unique dome-shaped tipple of the old Chauncey mine.
